Tampere in my mind

I spent a long weekend in Tampere, came back on Tuesday. Had lovely time, had delicious food and drinks, went out a couple of times and did some thrift finds as well. I love going thrifting in other cities, it feels as you could find anything with a price compared to nothing (well you all know it's not how it goes, but at least having some change is always good).

And just because this blog is trying to be some kind of a style blog, some outfits will follow. This is what I was wearing to see some Finnish rap at Klubi (did not exactly feel like one of the crowd... but I never do).

It's gonna be Midsummer festivities tomorrow and on Saturday. I've never before in my whole life stayed in city to celebrate it, but this time I am. I'm first going to my friend's garden (hopefully it'll be good weather) for some barbeque and afterwards to see Guitar Slingers and the loveliest ever Cherry Dee perform at Bar Loose.

My morning

This is how I wake up most of the mornings. Either her purring on my chest or in my armpit. But it's always as lovely awakening.

This morning I realized I lack almost everything needed for a good breakfast. So a bit poor it ended up becoming.

My mornings always consist of good music, that's a must or else I can't wake up properly. Today I listened to Fatboy. (Hopefully you won't find any embarrassing records there hehe)

Then I put on some make up and did my hair (in fact it's always the other way round, I first get ready for a day, then have breakfast). The least I do daily is to curl my bangs, sometimes a bit more. I've hung out at home and at library so nothing too fancy today.

I got all dressed up to go to Ofelia second hand market, but then decided I won't go. Lazy Sunday feeling.

If you already don't know this band, go a head and listen. I went to see them last Wednesday and it was amazing.

I went thrifting yesterday, good finds were made. At Fida I had to pinch myself, cos I really felt like being in a dream for finding so many purses. I even had to leave some of them behind which made me almost cry a little.

These two little ones are vintage, but the third one is real H&M :) couldn't really tell.

I went to see The Valkyrians yesterday and paired the two-tone purse with the heels I bought yesterday. I've been lacking black basic heels.

Joensuu

I came to visit my parents in Eastern Finland. I think I'm gonna stay here for a couple of weeks to figure out about my future and to try to excercise a lot and eat healthy, since lately I've gained quite a lot of weight... Which makes me feel even more miserable.

During the past month I've been to a lot of my favourite bands shows. Last Thursday I saw the Slackers play at Tavastia and it was definitely the best gig I've seen from them. Later we hung out with the members of the band at bar Loose and lots and lots of fun was had.

Planning the future

On Friday I went to see a friend's band play at Lepakkomies. Weekends are definitely repeating each other. Should figure out something else for the next one.

Yesterday was spent with friends, hanging out at bars in Kallio. I ran into an old, dear friend of mine, who has rented a 100 square meter mansion (for 350 euros/month!) in some small town. Sounds like an ideal place to spend time during this summer. And if I lose my job, I might as well move there haha. Yeah, I'm a bit stressed out about the situation at work right now and planning my future. I have decided to go back to school in autumn, although it's not very tempting moneywise... Maybe I should get myself a rich man :)
