summer shoes waiting to be used

During the winter I have bought many pairs of summer heels, cannot wait to wear them. Now they are just collecting dust in my room. In fact the weather would already call for summer shoes, but I feel like my whole wardrobe would need a makeover, as usually in the springtime. The first rays of sun just make me feel so dusty, grey and pale. Like I would've just woken up from a half a year hibernation.

Also bought these Fred Perry flats from sales a couple of months ago.

shoe shopping and moral hangover

Today I went supermarket/discount store shopping and got me two pairs of shoes. These cherry flats I wanted to buy earlier but never did until now. They were 5,99 from Tarjoustalo. I'm thinking of maybe giving them a dye, white shoes never stay clean.

This pair of shoes is from Citymarket, they were 15 euros. I've seen them in red and wanted them red but all that was left were white ones. I'm happy with them, though. I'm thinking of wearing them tonight, it's ages since I wore heels the last time...

Like always after buying new shoes, I get the regrets and a moral hangover. And I also feel very guilty, because I know I already have enough shoes.

These shoes I bought for 5,99 at Säästöpörssi in Hanko. Should have bought more of the similar kinds, there were some with a cherry print... why oh why did I not buy them?

It's funny how big (?) my bosom looks in that pic. And hips look small. It's actually another way around, I'm smaller from my upper body than the lower.

New hair

I dyed my hair yesterday. The blond streak in my bangs had to go sadly, because it was quite difficult to maintain. I also trimmed them a bit in a shape of U if you can tell in the pics. I made the scarf by myself (not much of a credit), a friend at work was kind enough to share the fabric with me. Why on earth hadn't I realized you can make your own scarfs and with a very reasonable price?!



By the way, I measured my hair had grown 1,43 centimeter last month. That makes a whole 17 centimeters per year, which is a lot. So in one year it'll be veeery long. Can't wait.

Pay day was on Monday so I've done some shopping. Top is from Gina Tricot and the shoes from Lindex sales.

There were some other clothes in that same print too. I wanted to buy them all!

I might dye them, cos they soon won't be white anymore anyway...

Tomorrow we'll drive to our summer cottage. I haven't even packed yet as usual. But before packing, I'll hit the shower. Have a nice weekend you all!

rainy day

I wanted really badly to go out riding bikes, but it started to rain just when I was ready to get out of the house. So I might as well blog a little bit more then.

I bid this brown vintage purse from huuto.net a couple of weeks ago, it was really inexpensive. I'm a bit scared of the amount of brown hand bags that I own, although brown is an easy colour and not too fancy for an ordinary day.


The cardigan I bought at H&M sales from Tampere. I had been eyeing this earlier in Helsinki, but didn't buy it cos I think it's just a little bit too H&Mish, too recognizable. I couldn't resist it after all, I love the pattern.

Now I guess I should give it another try and go biking.
