I went thrifting yesterday, good finds were made. At Fida I had to pinch myself, cos I really felt like being in a dream for finding so many purses. I even had to leave some of them behind which made me almost cry a little.

These two little ones are vintage, but the third one is real H&M :) couldn't really tell.

I went to see The Valkyrians yesterday and paired the two-tone purse with the heels I bought yesterday. I've been lacking black basic heels.

Polka Dots and Sun

I'm on a sick leave once again, this flu has been bugging me on and off for a couple of months now. I guess it's stress-related due to the situation at work and other shit in life...

As I'm not really that ill (the doctor was kind enough to give me 4 days off for god knows what reason), I've been able to go for bikerides and enjoy the sun a lot. This is what I was wearing today.

I haven't really gone thrifting a lot lately, but when I have, I've had a lot of luck. These two purses I scored a few weeks back.

Now I think I'm going to go outside some more!

sick leave

I'm suffering from a hellish flu. It's now a fifth day and I guess also tomorrow will be sick leave for me. I borrowed Love Boat season 1 from a friend, so at least I've got something nice to do here :) I also got an invitation to Spotify, so I have an access to lots and lots of music now.

I thought I'd share some of my finds from couple of weeks back. More purses that is. The proportions can't really be seen, but maybe later in outfit photos.

Ilosaarirock Saturday

I'm ill. Having a summer flu, yet there's no summer to be seen. Good thing about this is that I'm able to just lay in bed doing absolutely nothing, something I'm very good at. I have to see a doctor in a couple of hours, though. Hopefully he'll give me sick leave until the end of this week.

Last weekend was spent in Joensuu, in Ilosaarirock. I must admit that most of the time I sat in park drinking beer but I also got to see many of my favourite bands. However, I liked Mike Patton the most. I went to see his performance quite randomly, but boy was it amazing! (and I rarely say this about any band or performer...).

To begin with something, this is what I was wearing on Saturday.

Me and my sister. The older we get, the more similar we look like. Notice the bag I have, I thrifted it a couple of weeks ago while spending a weekend in my hometown.

It reminds me of some grandpa's shopping bag (I've added the patch to it, not the grandpa :)

almost a birthday girl

I'm having my 28th birthday tomorrow, I've cheated this whole time on my profile, I'm still actually 27... But from the beginning of each year I somehow start thinking I'm already at the age that the year states for. In two years I'll be 30, a scary thought, to be honest... I hope I don't look that old, though.

rainy day

I wanted really badly to go out riding bikes, but it started to rain just when I was ready to get out of the house. So I might as well blog a little bit more then.

I bid this brown vintage purse from huuto.net a couple of weeks ago, it was really inexpensive. I'm a bit scared of the amount of brown hand bags that I own, although brown is an easy colour and not too fancy for an ordinary day.


The cardigan I bought at H&M sales from Tampere. I had been eyeing this earlier in Helsinki, but didn't buy it cos I think it's just a little bit too H&Mish, too recognizable. I couldn't resist it after all, I love the pattern.

Now I guess I should give it another try and go biking.

Purses

I'm trying so hard not to nap this week. However, right now nothing would be better than crawling under warm blankets with The Boy and The Cat... mmm. napping is just heavenly.

Things I'm into right now:

• Wearing contact lenses! I always thought they weren't for me, but I've completely got used to them already (but being honest, I cried a little while trying them on for the first time..)
• Sex and The City Movie. I have tickets for the premiere, which is here on 6th of June. Can't wait!
• I finally booked a time for a tattoo, it's on Friday the 13th. eep!
  
• Thrifting, once again. I had a long period of time that I wasn't too into it. Now I'm at it again.
• Coffee and cigarettes (habits that I don't have all the time, just periodically)
• Napping. goddammit.

I found some pictures of my purses while going through old photos. And I also found a pic of a purse I didn't even remember I had! Today I need to gather all my courage and find my way to our dark storage and search for the purse:
