Birthday Girl

My cat had her 5th birthday yesterday. Can't believe she's already that old (I wonder how many years that is in human life?) and that she's followed me everywhere during these years. I counted that we've already lived together in 6 flats and I believe that is one of the reasons we have grown so close to each others and that she's became such a social cat, not one of those hiding under beds :) I couldn't imagine my life without her. So Happy belated Birthday, Maissi!

My morning

This is how I wake up most of the mornings. Either her purring on my chest or in my armpit. But it's always as lovely awakening.

This morning I realized I lack almost everything needed for a good breakfast. So a bit poor it ended up becoming.

My mornings always consist of good music, that's a must or else I can't wake up properly. Today I listened to Fatboy. (Hopefully you won't find any embarrassing records there hehe)

Then I put on some make up and did my hair (in fact it's always the other way round, I first get ready for a day, then have breakfast). The least I do daily is to curl my bangs, sometimes a bit more. I've hung out at home and at library so nothing too fancy today.

Apparently I've lost my mini tripod somewhere so mirror shots will have to do until I find it. Went to the library today to do some paper work for next months income (unemployment benefits that is) and for Wednesday's entrance examination.

I guess Maissi thinks the tiger figure is her baby.

My life's boring. Nothing seems to happen (that is why I've been blogging so much lately).

my business

Hi there. I'm being a complete lazy-ass when it comes to updating this blog. But when it comes to my personal and social life, I'm busier than I've ever been in my life so far. I'm enjoying every moment of it. The only one suffering from it, though, is my cat Maissi. I really should spend some more time with this cutie-pie and her red nose:

Last weekend was filled with social events, a lot going on all the time. On Friday I went to a friend's birthday party, then headed to see a band someone I'm dating plays in. My outfit of the evening looked like this

And just before going out of the door (yeah I know smoking's bad for you!)

This weekend was filled with a lot of things as well, but completely without alcohol (I've consumed too much of it lately). Today I went to Helsinki Vintage 2009 -happening and spent quite a lot of money and saw such stylish people!

Now I'm thinking of doing something I've never in my life done before: to go see a movie alone! scary.

New hair

I dyed my hair yesterday. The blond streak in my bangs had to go sadly, because it was quite difficult to maintain. I also trimmed them a bit in a shape of U if you can tell in the pics. I made the scarf by myself (not much of a credit), a friend at work was kind enough to share the fabric with me. Why on earth hadn't I realized you can make your own scarfs and with a very reasonable price?!



By the way, I measured my hair had grown 1,43 centimeter last month. That makes a whole 17 centimeters per year, which is a lot. So in one year it'll be veeery long. Can't wait.

Pay day was on Monday so I've done some shopping. Top is from Gina Tricot and the shoes from Lindex sales.

There were some other clothes in that same print too. I wanted to buy them all!

I might dye them, cos they soon won't be white anymore anyway...

Tomorrow we'll drive to our summer cottage. I haven't even packed yet as usual. But before packing, I'll hit the shower. Have a nice weekend you all!
